Tech mentioned during AFC champ game

They were talking about Tom Brady and how the Pats had 2 QBs on their board to draft. Tom Brady and Tim Rattay. They then said they were looking at Rattay because of the spread offense he was in at Louisiana Tech. Just thought I'd let yall know. Take care

No kidding. If SF doesn't improve their offensive line signifigantly, Tim may have to retire after next season.

He had to be drooling (assuming he was watching) over all the time both Pittsburgh and NE were giving their QBs.

He is too classy to ever admit it, but I am just sick for him. Talk about the luck of the draw. Instead of becoming a super bowl QB he is in danger of becoming the scape goat for the niners and never being in a position to show his talent.

One of the announcers, Phil Simms, I think, remarked: Tim Rattay is hearing this for the first time. He's gotta be saying, ah! I could of been in New England!

Tim just needs to get, and stay, healthy and the rest will it take care of itself. Besides, the weather is nicer in December-January in Frisco.

Oh, BTW, Tom Brady is the best QB in the NFL and no one is even a close second. The Pats will destroy McNabb and the Beagles.

Despite his recent loss to Brady's Pats, Peyton Manning is a far more talented QB than Brady will ever be...it's not even close. Manning's record has been achieved with one of the worst defenses in the League. Brady is good, but he's not even close to being the best.

and Tom Brady has never thrown 6 interceptions in one game. Give me Brady and the rings any day.

Exactly, Brady is a winner. he knows how to win. He's got the jewlery to prove it.

You guys can have him. He's a product of the system of an amazing coach. I'd also take McNabb and probably Culpepper before I'd take Brady too. Just my 2 cents. Rings don't make you great...Trent Dilfer got one in much the same way (great defense and not screwing up on offense).

Frankly, I don't understand the whole Manning hype. Archie was one of the worst qb's for one of the worst teams. Peyton can't win the important games and Eli isn't good enough to polish Big Ben's rookie shoes.

Setting the single season TD record is hardly hype. Jim Kelley couldn't win the big one either and he had a good defense. Eli and Archie will be side-notes to Peyton. He was one of the greatest college qb's of all time and he's already left his mark on the pro-game. My whole point was that he's a better quarterback than Tom Brady.

He'll always be known for not being able to beat Fla. That's also why he didn't win the Heisman.

I pulled for Peyton against Brady. I hope Brady loses in the SB.

But, thus far, Brady's a winner and Peyton's not. It's that simple.
