Is that because of the midweek month taking away a few Saturdays from home ticket packages?
When I saw the CUSA midweek agreement, I wondered how we could have afforded that. I think it would crush our season ticket sales to do that.
Or is that because of new opponents from long distances not stirring casual fan interest or bringing opposing fans? I would have to guess a non-conference game against us (which is smart to schedule for both schools) would bring more visiting fans to LaTech than a mid-week conference game versus ______ (fill in the blank from options).
Or a combination of the two? I have wondered if/how it affected ticket sales but didn't want to look like a visitor poster trying to start mess by asking that.

IMO ticket sales are down to lack of excitement / previous ADs tried to "fix" tailgating and we've been losing. Midweek games don't help.

Ticket sales were down long before we hired our current HC. They were down in the last few of the glorious Holtz bowl years.

Our previous 2 ADs and presidents all did their part in setting Tech football back by playing the game they were dealt badly. Mid-week games is the absolute dumbest thing they could have ever allowed.
