The current Bush would probably be about even with Reagan or maybe slightly to the right of him. That is, unless you count the significant growth in government spending and the huge increase in the deficit against him.

It's hard to say since Bush hasn't been as effective as Reagan was -- thus making it harder to know exactly what he'd be accomplishing if he were getting more done.

I hit at 26, but the test is a bit off and now somewhat dated. Which effects us more, Korea or Haiti? Not much doubt now. Too many all or nothing questions about areas that have room for a lot more differentiation.

You can't discount the deficit. Clearly President Bush's "compassionate conservatism" has caused him to spend more than most people marked as conservative on this quiz would like. In terms of effectiveness, I'll be anxious to see how President Bush's term is measured in 20 years. I think he'll be thought of quite fondly for his firm convictions and willingness to act when others haven't/wouldn't. He's definitely not the typical govern by polls politician.
