ULL is ranked in this weeks Baseball America Poll. The Cajuns enter the poll at #21. Other teams of interest are

1. Tulane
3. LSU (down from 2)
12. Rice
14. Baylor
19. Arkansas (9-1)
21. ULL (10-0)

Does anyone know if they use the RPI in baseball for any reason? If so, our should be going up.

Unlike basketball and football - Baseball waits until the season is a few weeks old before releasing thier numbers -

They are also ranked #22 in the Collegiate Baseball poll. I think Dwayne made the right call when he said this team is a darkhorse for CWS this year. Maybe Coach Sim can get us to this point one day!!!

I definitely believe it with 13 seniors or whatever. But it is hard to find a dependable baseball poll because of the lack of popularity of college baseball around the country. Baseball America and Collegiate baseball are never even close to each other. The top 10 are relatively close, but then sometimes you have teams ranked 17th in one poll and not even ranked in the other.
