The Bossier Shreveport Battlewings get their season underway this Sunday at 3:00 vs. Memphis as the AFL2 season gets cranked up in CenturyTel Arena. The Battlwings have a plethora of Tech formers running the show.

Dan Newman- Owner and former Louisiana Tech football radio color analyst.

Greg Little- Assistant General Manager Sales and Marketing and former Louisiana Tech Assistant AD in charge of Marketing/Promotions.

Former Bulldog Players include:
Ahmad Harris
Quincy Miles
Jason Olford

He never actually played for Louisiana Tech. He did enroll at Tech, but he never went to class. The roster does say that he went to Oklahoma so there is no connection to Tech there.

I talked to Ahmad Harris the other day and he said that he's looking to go to an NFL camp once the camps start up for free agents. Harris played quarterback in high school. I can see it now. Ahmad "Hollywood" Harris as receiver/running back/quarterback/punt & kick returner.

FWIW, thank goodness from what we have been told on here. I hope this doesn't sound too pious but I wouldn't want Louisiana Tech by his name.
