Folks, DR's reputation in B.R. is outstanding right now. He's not going anywhere. SACS just gave Tech a glowing report, in fact, they've never conducted a review of any university with zero findings: New dorms, NanoTech program, rising enrollment, student retention/grad rates are one of the best in this region of the country, also TIME magazine has been on campus this past week doing a report on our student retention. With the exception of our athletic programs, Tech is kicking some serious butt right now. I can promise you the folks in B.R. are taking note of our success. If academics, enrollment, etc., continue on an upward trend then you won't be able to touch DR with a 10ft pole. As long as DR's running the show expect athletics to remain on the back-burner.

i do believe that, unless chris long does an outstanding job (which i hope he does), sometime in the next 10-15 years kim mulkey will be the techsters' head coach.

You're right. Sally Clausen loves Dan and its partly because he ha no desire to improve our athletic program.

i stand corrected, but my point remains the same. kim is not going anywhere until her kids are grown and out of high school. within the next 15 years she should be on her way back from waco to ruston, a la roy williams at unc.

Then we need to promote him out of the way! That is, if he just refuses to "get it right".
