They also blow up on Gingrich for fighting the rights of the poor with his 1995 bill passing. They dont sound to non-partisan to me. I cannot find anything about how a Dem did something wrong one time. Well that might be because they are for more socialistic policies. I will let you look at their web site and decide.
I'm not saying that theyre non-partisan, but here's just something to think about:

ACLU stands for American Civil Liberties Union. You say that the ACLU is always attacking the Republicans, because theyre not really non-partisan. But how do you know they dont just seem non-partisan because the Republicans are the ones who do the majority of violating of Civil Liberties?

    Re: ACLU's Commie Roots

That the ACLU is a liberal organization goes without saying. I doubt that they are still in favor of Communism given the fact that Communism is a total failure, as witness by the changes and admissions of its original home, The Soviet Union.

However, the ACLU will provide excellent legal representation to those who civil liberties are being threaten by the government. Oliver North was represented by the ACLU when the government was after him, and he has nothing but praise for the way the organization helped him. So their mission goes beyond strict political agenda.
