I have heard we are now back in the picture for Deanna Mason of Ft. Smith CC.
She is taking all her visits now and some have gone well while others did not go as well. She is apparently giving us consideration. I understand she may be in for a visit this weekend.
She is a 6'3" center originally from Detroit, Michigan.
She scores and rebounds well.

I'd say that the post position and the forward position are both wide open right now. No way that any player who played there this year has (should have) the inside track to the starting roles.
That should help in recruiting, especially in recruiting a juco. Long can honestly tell any big, she has a VERY good chance of being a starter.

i could see a guy from up north wanting to play at those schools instead of down here. but not womens basketball. what have those two schools ever done in womens basketball? i like our chances against them.

Does anybody know how the visit went? Or did it even happen?
