Tech golfers making a move!
The Tech golf team shot a combined 7 over par today and are currently in 4th place! They are at a combined +32 for the tournament, only 9 shots behind leader Tulsa at +23. The top 3 teams, Tulsa, SMU, and Rice, still have some golf to play so Tech could move up a little more.
Individually, Derek Busby shot a 1 under 71 and is leading the tournament at even par overall!! Jason Jenkins shot a 74, Preston Smith and Logan Reister shot 75's, and Chad Carter shot an 82, which doesn't count in the overall score!
Way to go Dawgs! Great day. Now we just need a great day tomorrow and who knows, we might sneak in there and win!

Re: Tech golfers making a move!
I'm about to leave to go out there and call in a report when all the cards are in...will be on ESPN 99.3 in our local sports breaks this afternoon...
Congrats to the guys--way to go...I saw a look in the eyes of Jean Hall after some of the poor scores yesterday----I think he used his positive re-enforcement that he is so good at to help the guys.....I think he could -even get ME to shoot Par with his great people technique.....it sounds like he really settled them down for today...we have a chance at this one tomorrow.
