I saw on facebook that Tech will be open tomorrow. Many students commenting how unhappy they are that class will resume. Is the weather that bad in Ruston or the students being weenies?

It's not that bad. Although everything is still iced over pretty good. It's beginning to thaw out, but will freeze over again tonight. I've been on the roads extensively today and haven't seen anyone have any trouble. I will say that if I had a daughter at home that had to travel a reasonable distance to get back to Ruston, I don't know that I would feel comfortable.
It's funny, because this would be just another day if we lived up north. But, southern drivers just aren't used to driving in these "conditions".
Actually, ice isn't an everyday thing up in the north either, and they have tons of wrecks during ice storms too. Snow is what's common up there. People here act like the world comes to an end when it snows and they're on the road, and drive 90mph on ice, at least in Baton Rouge.
Not so much weenies, just not wanting to go to class
