    NMSU Going Bowling?

Stewart Mandel predicts NMSU will go bowling this year. Unless your name is USC or OU or something like that, seems a little early to start making these kinds of predictions. Especially given NMSU's recent past...

Rose Bowl, Rose Bowl, Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl is not the only flowery bowl game. Any thoughts on who will win the Inaugural Poinsettia Bowl?

And better yet, will there be a Poinsettia parade? Well, let's see. San Diego's second bowl game is supposed to match a Mountain West team against an at-large, most likely from the WAC. In the spirit of the classic, 46-45 BYU games of the early Holiday Bowl days, I'll go with the Cougars against New Mexico State, now led by high-flying Hal Mumme.
