Neville HS star Drew Thomas is now a two-time all-NE Louisiana selection in baseball. Thomas batted .360 with 6 HRs and 33 RBIs as a senior this year and has already signed with Louisiana Tech.
Hopefully we also have a shot at some other top area players like:

P Devin Copley West Ouachita
1B Andrew Auttonberry West Ouachita
OF Perry Smith Neville
UT Cole Bishop Ruston

Drew will be behind in hitting at next level for a while and needs to improve a little more as receiver for next level. One thing about catchers, you generally see freshman catchers improve more from Fall to Spring during first college year than other postion players.
from what i've seen of drew thomas -- several games -- i was not very impressed with him. i'd take copley over thomas. and jamie johnson over all of them.

A lot of folks would like to take Jamie Johnson (junior) who committed to Ole Miss in SEC. Sticks out like a sore thumb, a no brainer to notice. Not a lot after that for next year from NE LA.
Not exactly a plethora to pick from. Part of a 5A, 4A, then single 3A, etc. to pick from to make All NE LA.
