I like how Ryan is holding that ball in the 3rd photo. He looks a little like Tike Barber last year after he made a change to how he secured the ball. Only Ryan is quicker and stronger than Tiki! Ball security, and injury, are the only two things that could derail his future.

Ryan is going to tear %$&* up, that is all there is to it....

Here is what OC Brad Childress had to say about Moats recently. You got to love the fact that he is doing well in the passing game. Its conceivable that he may be in the game this year as much for passing plays as running plays:

On how running back Ryan Moats is playing during the contact drills: "He has not shied away from any of that. He's like a piece of gristle. He's hard to knock off his feet. He plays with his pads low. There's not much surface to hit him on. He's got a great squirt in the hole and playing behind 6'7" guys. He's hard to find back there. Whether it's a draw, trap or outside zone play, you find people starting to look over the top to find out where he's at.

"If you don't locate him, he comes out the other side. So, he's done a very good job in the run game and his pass catching skills have been very, very good in this camp. I know that was a question coming out, but he's caught an awful lot of hard tries here, balls with a lot of velocity on them. So, he's done a good job. Schematically, because all he has really done was getting handed the football, he's learning the pass game. When we displace him, that is not natural to him." On whether he has a natural feel out there: "Yeah, he has the ability to be out there. He's one of those guys where if you show him something or someone else does it, he's got it. That takes a while; the pass game takes a while, particularly when you extend away from the formation."

I don't like the way he's carrying it in the 4th picture though. He's got to get his fingers around the end of the ball everytime.
