Back in the day South Alabama was a powerhouse, under Coach Eddie Stanky, and Maine was a regular participant in Omaha. Not so much anymore though. I think we're going to struggle, with so many new faces, so having an easy-moderate schedule is a good thing.

No price increases. Promotion of coaches and media who have far from earned the jobs along with several players who keep getting a chance but are taking up space because LB has a crush on them. Sick of no pitching and guys who get a spot on on the team hitting sub .200.

We all know the names; Berch, Drost and Safford more so Drost and Safford who transferred in from LSU and although they keep getting starting position chances they haven’t come close to playing well enough to keep them. I guess Burroughs either sees himself in them as guys who really aren’t that talented or he’s too stubborn to admit that wasting portal places on them were mistakes. If two years history is a fair indicator these guys are going to have a really tough time getting any playing time on this years winning team, IF Tech has one.
