I third the opinion of Allen as an announcer. I’d really like to hear the younger Nitz and Cramer do all the games.
On another baseball note I’ll give you one guess who were the first 2 Dawgs to strikeout during Saturday’s scrimmage game against Little Rock.

It’s just one more way of turning people off to following Jech sports. Allen is a genuinely poor play by play guy. Plenty of times the play is over by the time he gets to announcing it. You know because you can hear it in the crowd’s reaction. Maybe this’ll be my last sport and year to be a Tech fan. Burroughs has a big job ahead of him this year and I have serious doubts that he can pull it off.
