It’s all been said before but it has to be repeated until something is done, Crumbie is completely incompetent. It doesn’t matter the reasons why. It’s simply that he can not coach his team to win. The guy is a loser (period)!
We had a great crowd at the Life Choices banquet last night held at the DAC. Anticipated an equally packed house for night 2 tonight. Best crowd at the Joe in 2 years.
Pitiful. Tech had so many chances to score in this game and blew each and every one in almost comical fashion.
Bless the D for holding the winner to 7 measly offensive points. Our O gave them their other 2.
I wonder if Crumbie or any of our coaches get fired up about any of this bad play? I’m not necessarily talking about grabbing face masks and shaking some sense into any particular player but somebody has got to snap some of our players out of this putrid funk we’re in. This crappy football can’t continue. Up and down the sideline all I see is Crumbie clapping like a madman while he looks like he’s about to jump out of his skin. He looks about as nervous and uncomposed as how our team performs when they’re in a pressurized situation. What’s that saying, what you see is what you get. Well, we got it and we got it bad.
I kept expecting our defense to join the party, that is the woeful party. Thought SHSU would score 24 points in the 2nd half and win 26-3. I never thought our anemic offense would score another point, and they didn't. But, the defense held up fairly well, which they have been doing all year. We have a pretty good defense, certainly good enough to win this lousy league...if we had an offense with a pulse.
How does Crummy keep his job? Oh, I know, Henderson doesn't give a chit, he's only in Ruston to draw a fat paycheck. This joke of an AD is clueless too.
This team is a mirror of it's coach - no confidence whatsoever
Sad thing is - with any offensive leadership this team could be 6-2 or 7-1 (a strong argument could be made that they should be)
I have no doubt he is gone - they just aren't going to fire him until most likely the end of the season or he gets the 7th loss
Why pull a promising RS Frosh who has lead two crucial 4th quarter drives the last two weeks for a 6th year senior who looks like a deer in the headlights every time he steps on the field during his career?
This isn't a NIL problem, this isn't a COA problem and I don't think it's a talent problem (especially for this conference) - it's 100% coaching and prepardness
A running back not presenting a pocket on a hand-off
Fielding a punt inside your own 10 yard line
Play calls from your on 3 yard line and inside your opponents 10 yd line on multiple occasions
A senior QB giving the rb a handoff up in his shoulder pads at the opponents goal line
Defense really played well except for basically one run play
Cumbie is so bad its turning from comical to sadistic...
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
My kids don't believe me that Tech used to win games. They thought I was crazy that there was such a thing as "home field advantage" because "we never win when we're at home."
Fortunately, they don't ever have to watch a whole game because they're always at 9:30 on a weeknight thanks to our fearless leaders.
Actually bothered to tune in and watch the whole game. Unbelievable. Only way this team can look any worse is to run the wrong way and intentionally score points for the opposition.
It truly sucks that badly.
Today is a New Day.
Think I'll make a donation to LA Jech athletics.
