Play Up Reaches Ruston, Final Stop

The Western Athletic Conference's Play Up Tour its final stop in Ruston, La., Oct. 8 for the Hawai‘i vs. Louisiana Tech game. The Play Up campaign seeks to improve the public and private perceptions of the WAC and its members through national, local and regional touch points.

After a season of successful stops, WAC Associate Commissioner Steve Macy will be appearing on many local radio and television stations including KXKZ and ESPN Radio.

Come visit the WAC at Alumni tent, and get a free shirt, WAC pin , Play Up rally towel and information on Play Up. During the game, Macy will present a commemorative WAC Play Up helmet to both Louisiana Tech President Dr. Daniel Reneau and Athletic Director Jim Oakes.

Louisiana Tech is recognizing players from each of the decades, with the 1970's on tap for this week. Come cheer on the Bulldogs, wave your rally towel and groove to the 70's.

The Play Up Tour has heightened awareness for the WAC brand as well as reinforced the association between the schools and the WAC.
