If I offended any of you with my salute in my previous post, for that I apologize. If you do not know what I am talking about, just pipe down and keep reading.
Apparently this forum is for Tech fans that cannot think on your own. I had my first and only thread pulled by some administrator for some ficticous "bullcrud" reason. Nevertheless, read on.
I hope you Techsters enjoyed your first win of the year over Hal Mumme and his bunch of misfit coaches last week. That maybe the only win of the year for the Bulldogs. But, if you really think about it, you almost let that expansion team back in the game. And defense is what Tech is hanging its hat on this year. WOW! I'm impressed.
In my opinion the easiest play on the board this weekend is the Rainbow Warriors + 4.5 and over the total. Why you ask? Because UH owns La Tech. We always have and we always will. But when I really think about that, anytime your Bulldogs get on your horses and head west, everybody owns you. Tech could honestly be the worst traveling west team in NCAA history.
Even with the home field advantage this week, it will not matter. (Although, I don't know if I consider 7500 crazed fans home field). Call all your relatives and have them scurry through the trailer parks and collect as much change as they can. Call your local bookmaker and put it all on UH and the over. Shhhh! don't tell your fellow alumni what you did, because you might not get to wear the letter sweater you earned from the chess club so proudly, dorks. Collect your winnings next week and immediately mail the check to your athletic department in care of a big screen jumbo tron. That way you pathetic fans can watch the so called missed call, dropped ball, off-sides or any other excuse you can conjure in your pea brains over and over and over again.
One last point, your coach makes every staff in the Div 1-A look brilliant. What he should do before every game is replay the "Flutie" play and remind your players that they too could be a part of history. "DUH, you know I was the deep snapper for Flutie in the biggest defensive blunder NCAA football." Bicknell states proudly. The team should run through brick walls for him with that kind of reputation. Heck, I would, wouldn't you.
Aloha and see you kids on Saturday,
Just remember, I told you so!
