Second Half Surge Lifts Lady Techsters Over Mavericks

Great game after a slow start... The best part of it was this:

Freshmen Jordan Marshall and Isla Airey combined for 36 points and 21 rebounds to lead the way.

We had 22 turnovers, they had 11. On the flip side we hit 19/26 from the FT line (73%) and they were horrible with 9/19 only 47%. That's a 10-point difference from the line, in an 11-point final. While 73% is a stark improvement for us, it's still not quite good enough for this team to be ultimately successful. The Karl Malone "Dunkin' Dawgs" were lousy from the FT line, something like 63% as a team, but man! did they have it everywhere else. This Techster team does not have much of anything "everywhere else," and need to nail free throws and!!! do something about these damn turnovers.

A win is a win, and if the team learns from its mistakes, then that is an even bigger win.
