    Re: More persecution of Christians

Pelosi is just an evil double standard mess. So vindictive and apparently black stained to the core of her soul. She loves the killing of unborn babies and now this against the Catholic Church. She needs praying for.

Catholic League Decries Nancy Pelosi’s ‘War on Catholic Schools

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is seeking to “cripple Catholic schools” by cutting off needed funding while subsidizing “illegal aliens and sanctuary cities,” said Catholic League president Bill Donohue Monday.

Ms. Pelosi “boasts of her Catholic schooling,” Dr. Donohue notes in Monday’s statement, and yet “wants to rescind funding for Catholic schools that were granted money by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.”

In the Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Act, Pelosi has money for all her pet causes and yet nothing for strapped Catholic schools, Donohue notes.

Pulling no punches, Donohue says that what Pelosi is trying to do is “immoral.”

“She seeks to discriminate against taxpayers who send their children to Catholic schools, families who were equally impacted by the pandemic,” he writes. “She is also violating the Federal Emergency Management Act (FEMA) policy as outlined in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018.”

In his communiqué, Dr. Donohue observes that FEMA funding rules from 2018 allowed direct funding to houses of worship damaged by natural disasters.

The rules said that FEMA will not “exclude houses of worship from eligibility for FEMA aid on the basis of religious character or primarily religious use of the facility,” he notes, adding that under the same rules “activities of community centers or houses of worship open to the general public” qualify for federal funding.

The FEMA policy was written “to provide relief to churches that were damaged by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma,” Donohue says. “Coronavirus has also impacted churches, as well as schools.”

Yet while coronavirus does not discriminate, “Pelosi does,” he concludes.

    Re: More persecution of Christians

Pelosi...and many like her...will spend eternity in boiling sulphur. All the never-born people murdered via abortion will stand on the balconies overlooking the sulphur pits and shake their heads in disgust and in pity. They will hear the never-ending screams of those condemned to burn forever and suffer excrutiating pain. Then those on the balconies will return to glorious Heaven, shutting the doors behind them that screen out those screams...and know only great joy in the presence of God in His kingdom.

And Satan...will join his legions of evil-doers in those pits, to also burn forever. It is sad and tragic so many turn away from God and allow Satan to cloud their minds, their hearts, and their souls. Of course, we know that God is loving and it is never too late to reject the devil and embrace God. Never too late until the moment you die from your Earthly existence, that is. Some people find it hard to comprehend that even Adolf Hitler could have repented and found his way to Heaven, had he truly given himself to the Lord, accepted Jesus as his Savior, and asked for forgiveness. Of course, we know poor ole Adolf didn't since his last Earthly act was committing suicide. And even if he had died from a bullet from a Russian gun, there is zero evidence he had changed in the last days, hours, moments of his wretched Earthly life.

Pelosi will be able to trade stories with Hitler... "yeah, Adolf, I labored years trying to destroy America and the good of the world too!"

    Re: More persecution of Christians

First commie China reported persecuting Christians this week and now the Dem. governor from Virginia does what??

Governor blasted for 'encouraging people to snitch on churchgoers'
State 'gestapo' form allows complaints against people in a 'religious service'
    Published June 27, 2020 at 2:49pm

Churches have felt put out by various city and state restrictions on

Similar organizations in some jurisdictions have been treated differently, resulting in First Amendment lawsuits.

But now, Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam is ramping up the pressure, according to a religious liberty advocate, providing a means for citizens to snitch on people who violate coronavirus rules, such as attending a "religious service" without a face covering.

Along with "religious service," the menu on the form provided online provides for complaints at a "grocery-convenience store," "restaurant," "brick and mortar retail," "winery-brewery," "indoor gun range," "personal grooming service" or "fitness and exercise."

    Even me?

An attack by DeBlasio? Maybe. It's more of an instance of him being hypocritical...which is not new. Churches, at least around where I am, have done a TERRIBLE job practicing the mitigation procedures. I wouldn't be surprised to see the whole state move back a phase before too long...and churches will be part of the spread. So, I can't say I think he's wrong about churches not meeting.

It's also true that there's basically nothing he can do to stop the BLM protests...nothing worth the political costs anyway. None of his constituents will call him on the hypocrisy.

there have been attacks on churches meeting where members show up in their cars, never leave their cars, and the pastor speaks either through loud speakers to everyone in the parking lot, or has done it via a small FM transmitter that people can turn their FM radios to. No interaction, everyone staying inside cars, yet they want to stop church services..

And neither will the lamestream media, nor his fellow Dems (marching in lock step), and of course any criticism from the Right is seen as affirmation he did the correct thing. That is why it is so easy to be a lib Dem...no repercussions at all. You can operate an illegal server in the bathroom of someone's house, leave an ambassador to be murdered, pay for fake dossiers, sell machineguns to drug gangs, etc...and it's all the other side's fault.

All this leftist population division (by race, religion, gender-assigned vs desired, sexual orientation, etc.) is quite the quagmire. What happens if you are Jewish AND black? What if you are Jewish, black AND transitioning? What happens when what they say you think and experience doesn't match what you actually think and experience?

The left divides using stereotypes and the assumption that ALL members of whatever they have decided to segregate upon meet that exact profile. They are evil.

Could persecution and elimination of freedoms of the church and church going individuals it be coming from within?
Democrat governors and mayors are already trying. The problem is Harris has a terrible record per this topic.

Religious Freedoms at Risk Under Biden

Religious leaders and religious liberties advocates are fearful that a Biden administration will undo strides the Trump administration made in granting and expanding religious freedoms in the United States and globally.

Trump spent his time in office putting forth policy that embraced and expanded upon religious freedoms. He was praised by religious groups for reversing Obama-era policies that blocked religious organizations from receiving federal disaster relief and required employers to provide free birth control to employees. Now, many say those advancements in protecting religious liberties are potentially at risk under a Biden administration.

Sounds just like Hitler blaming the Jews for Germany’s woes prior and during WWII. What a hypocrite!

Dem Rep. Doggett: Crowded Church Services ‘Leading to’ Deaths

On Thursday’s “MSNBC Live,” Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) commented on a video of a large church service tweeted by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) by saying that he applauds “those who want to share, as I do, their faith here at the Christmas time, but they are leading to the death of other people, both inside and outside their congregations.”

Doggett said, “I live on a street that has two churches, two or three more are within shouting distance of my house here in east Austin. They are all closed. I thought last night — or tonight, as they have normally Christmas Eve services, they’ve shown that good judgment. Our problem in Texas, frankly, is that we have, unfortunately, a Governor in Greg Abbott who, all along, has been more interested in pleasing President Trump than in protecting the health of Texans. And as a result of that, we have about 26,000 Texans that are not alive today. We will have more of those individuals die. I applaud those who want to share, as I do, their faith here at the Christmas time, but they are leading to the death of other people, both inside and outside their congregations.”
