    Talked to Chris the other night. Some of this might be a little off cause it was a couple of days ago. Said there are 3 2nd basemen and that he's battling for the two spot. Seemed pretty pleased with his performance and said if he gets red shirted then he's gonna try and get a lot bigger in the winter.

    Can anyone give me an update on Brandon Eppinette? He plays shortstop, but played 1st base during the World Series. Only saw one game and he looked pretty good over there.

    According to the boxscores for games 1,2,3,&5 Eppinette had 1 single in 9 at bats,walked once,struck out once,had 14 putouts,1 assist and 2 errors. There is no info on game 4. Maybe someone has some eyewitness info on him.

    Eppinette was playing first base due to other injuries that effected depth for the Fall World Series. He has been working as back up on left side at 3B and some SS during Fall.
