YEAH!
We are now 7-17 and finally beat someone other than UTEP or Nevada...
If we beat I-Da-HO on Saturday we may get our record up to 25%...

Remove the Mountain time zone games and that record is still 2-11 (0-10 other than Nevada). It's almost like the Mountain-Pacific time zone line is a Bermuda Triangle-type line for Tech in recent years with there being some other force present around Reno except this year.
Time for that to change Saturday in the Pacific time zone.
Actually, Tech's 7-17 record equals a 29.16% winning percentage. If we beat Idaho on Saturday (and I expect we will), our winning percentage out west will move to 32% (8 of 25 games).Originally Posted by Dwayne From Minden
That means Tech wins one out of three games it plays out west. Not good, but probably what we should expect as long as Tech keep's posting .500 record (overall) teams. (Which is what we've done the last few years.)

We squeaked by two teams that are ranked in the low 100's....
They were wins - but not exactly earth shaking victories...
We still struggled out west -
Next year we go to San Jose, Hawaii, Boise and New Mexico St -
If history repeats itself we will win 1 of those and lose the other 3 -

It's only an imaginary game if you lose it. Otherwise, there is a very "non-imaginary" little blue football made in commemeration. Instead of counting sheep, thats what JBIII counts in his sleep.Originally Posted by Bill Pup60
