All this complaining aside, this new Freshman class of 10 HS signees looks pretty good. Nine of the 10 HS signees appear to be legit 3-star recruits. Former LA Tech All-World TE Josh Bradley's son Jackson Bradley (6-3, 200, QB) has apparently signed with LA Tech as a QB. Like his daddy, he comes to LA Tech from Oak Grove High School, which is definitely a football town and school.

I'm curious at to what made Jaylon Parnell from Pascagoula, MS, decide to sign with LA Tech over so many other attractive options (Auburn, Miss St, Missouri, Ole Miss, etc..)? Parnell is rated as the 21st best player in Mississippi for 2025. He looks like a great pickup for LA Tech.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the "Also plays baseball" tidbit at the very end. Could this be another situation where some promises are made to accommodate a two-sport college athlete? That was somewhat the deal with J'Mar or somebody in Holtz's tenure. I can't recall exactly. It could be that he wants to go where he can possibly start as a freshman. I too am curious on his decision.

JMar never had a chance to play baseball based on talent, but Holtz shut that down after year 1.
