CNN anchor Soledad O’Brien is making headlines today after being snagged on the air reading from a leftist blog during an interview.
While filling in for regular host Anderson Cooper Monday night, O’Brien was talking with Virginia House of Delegates Republican member Barbara Comstock, who is a senior adviser for the Mitt Romney campaign.
O’Brien was seen reading from a printout by the left-leaning Talking Points Memo.
Specifically, the piece used for her notes was titled “The Myth Of Paul Ryan The Bipartisan Leader,” posted Monday at 6:08 p.m. just a few hours before O’Brien’s interview.
“CNN, if you want to know why nobody’s watching,” said radio host Rush Limbaugh as he analyzed O’Brien. “You want to make the claim that you guys are objectively in the middle?”
Limbaugh continued, “Soledad O’Brien is doing McCarthyism, Charlie McCarthyism. She is a puppet. Somebody’s mouthing for her. She doesn’t know what to ask unless she goes to a liberal blog for guidance, has to print it out and use it on the air, and she’s one of their stars.”

You're wrong. It's on the front page of their Politics Section. What more do you want? This isn't big news. But it does headline the Latest Politics News. Go look.
That said I bet the baby killers make a big deal of it ( they need the "scare tactics" of women on their side) as they don't have much else positive to talk about per their views after the terrible week Obama and Biden had again.

Don't go to holding FN to a double standard. You want to lambast the others for not having it on their main page, you have to hold FN to that same standard. It's not there right now.

But the story is still relatively fresh. It is not main news worth reporting outside Missouri. It's going to get bigger though, then you'll see it on the front page.
And mav, you may not remember about 3 years ago when Whoopi Goldberg tried to exhonerate Roman Polanski by saying he didn't commit "rape rape". Fox News didn't run a big story on it either. So it is being fair and balanced.
Now it is there, in the thumbnail Politics section. When I posted that, it took three clicks to find it. I don't equate the reporting of a dumbass celebrity's ignorance with that of a Congressman/US Senate candidate.

The point is about biased reporting.
I know the point. A discussion of biased reporting includes a news organizations' decision of what's important enough to report widely or bury. That's why I don't see the 3rd page reporting of Goldberg's comments as the same as initially burying the congressman's comments. I agree they probably will move it forward as time goes on. My point, initially, was that it already was on front pages for many, but not Fox.
On a side note about his comments, it's bad enough he said If it's a legitimate rape, (paraphrased); he further made an ignorant ass of himself by saying women's bodies have ways of taking care of it.
