Couldn't agree more !! Some of these top teams, other than Tennessee, seem to have no problem playing against whoever, so why not Tech, a team with tradition, and can give them a better game, than say, Ball State (Duke), Albany (UConn), Army (Baylor), and some of the teams that North Carolina plays. Great job with the OOC schedule this year, but would love to see beefier. Great win tonight going in to conference. Happy New Year everybody !!

Teams like Alcorn really hurt our rpi. Of course, they did OK last year - winning the SWAC, at least. The problem with some of these teams is that you never know how good they will be from year to year. We would do much better scheduling middle of the road B12 and SEC teams, whenever possible. Throw in an ACC team and a Big East team and we would be set for rpi. You can lose a few of those and still be in great shape.

OOC is hard to schedule, though. You need a few gimme games to get the confidence of the team up plus work out some glitches.

Even if you were being sarcastic, I agree with you about beefing up the schedule. It would be great to see some really good teams come into the TAC, or us go to them. Would love to see a home/home with Purdue, Duke, Stanford, ODU, UConn, Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, Tennessee, then the rest of the ooc schedule could be padded with patsies.

I'm late on reading this, but I think it's funny how they make predictions for the basketball games the way we do for football games, since basketball, especially ASU women's basketball, potentially the same draw as a football game

you obviously didn't get what i was saying. it's freakin' ludicrous to claim we should pay more money to bring in big-time teams to the tac to play the techsters, while the bulldogs must play a bunch of crappy teams like tougaloo at home. the techsters have the deck stacked in their favor when it comes to tech athletics, and idiots like you get on here and say we should stack it even further!
