Our current rpi is 32, which isn't too bad. We need for Miss., Miss State, Iowa, and KState to start pulling some big upsets in their conferences. That will help more than anything. Right now, only Tennessee and Iowa are helping us. Iowa has a 3 game winning streak (including one over Michigan State).

KState beat Texas Tech (like everyone is doing this year), but then turned around and lost bad to Missouri.

Rice and Ole Miss are on a down slide since our games with them. We must have hurt their confidence and they have been unable to recover yet. Dang it! Rice lost 5 of their next 8 after our game with them. They may be turning a corner now with 2 recent wins, though. Ole Miss has lost 3 of their last 4 since our meeting, including a loss to Mississippi State, whom we beat earlier in the year.

To help our rpi right now, these teams need to turn things around:
MState - doing better than expected
Ole Miss - needs to get their act together and knock off a big SEC opponent or 2
KState - Needs to come in, at least, at #3 in the B12. They may shoot for #2.
Rice - Just needs to settle down and challenge for CUSA championship.
Tennessee - Keep winning, baby, till the NCAA tournament.
Iowa - getting on track- keep it going.

Projected RPI is 41 but would be 31 if tomorrow night's projected loss to Hawai'i turns into a win.

Add to that team list that Arkansas State and Western Kentucky need to sweep the Sun Belt when not playing each other.
