PAY HER??? hell no.. This is LOUISIANA TECH... she should feel privilaged to attend one of our events.
Here's a FREE idea for you guys... get 4 or 5 of you together in between classes, and make a walk through the bookstore, stoopid center and the quad... just wear a BLUE shirt, and give some how bout them dawgs... Fresno sucks.... Boise Bytes... whatever... just get some excitement going. Make sure you get someone loud to annouce... "BIG GAME TONIGHT... BE THERE DAMNIT!"
I LOVE the hoop troop marching there idea, but you better havea larger crown walk with you, cause hoop troop is only 40 - 50 people per band. And there's no drumline. PM Drumdawg and ask him what we can do to assist them.
I love the parade idea as well. I think if it gets started, Robkin will add a small drumline to it. It would be great if we could get a tradition like this going.
Another idea, send a rep to IFC and panhellenic meetings reminind them of the upcoming games and the importance of their attendance.
Mass emails and reminding people in the Student center and Tolliver. I posted this in the "what can the Blue Crew do...." and it will tell you how to do the mass emails.
Hit the organizations hard and make them responsible for on-campus promotion and cheer right along with them.

If you can get Fraternities and sororities to actually come to the game that would be great. At the competition last thursday for the loudest organization hardly any of those people were there. Jford, there are also a lot of people at the BCM that should be coming too.
If you are driving to the game, drive thru campus and offer other fans rides to the game.
What if we got with the Band and organized a march in. Everybody could meet in the Quad and the hoop troop would be their playing. The Blue would be their painted up and acting crazy. At 6:15, the students and whoever else could march to the TAC. This would be an AWESOME tradition. Yes, it's a decent walk, but come on folks...

If it were legal, the TAC would be filled almost to capacity.
Pretty good idea.... They could walkthrough campus, across the ped. bridge and right through University Park playing the fight song so everyone in UP can hear....Play the song take a break and yell out "Bball game at...." or something like that.
More than likely, Robken would go for this.
