The only time I ever slowed down at screaming at the visiting team was in in the 71-72 season when Southwestern came to Ruston with Bo Lamar and Roy Ebron. I waited in line in the rain to get a courtside beacher seat - I was on the first row, standing on the court screaming at Ebron nearly the whole game until he came by chasing a loose ball and and gave me a little elbow. That guy was one mean dude. Even the refees were smiling when he elbowed me.
There was alot of talent and athleticism on the court at that game, probably the most ever. It was great to have the court 30 seconds from Mitchell.
If the Techsters are Dr. Dan's pet program, seems like he would be in attendance at the games. I have been to every home game this season and have seen him and the Mrs. at 1 game MAYBE 2. They have seats behind the bench close to Oakes and they "ain't" been there.

Guys lets not convict DR right now. This was was based completely on hear say.
You have to put it in perspective. He's obviously not into sports. So saying that it is his Pet doesn't mean that he is a die hard and is going to make all of the senseless little skirmishes. If he makes two or three, he has done his duty.
I would think if this were true then we would have gotten emails yesterday.

Sounds like the game officials are the party nazis, not TECH officials.
As a student that attended many games on tobacco road, nothing I have seen at tech should have gotten anyone kicked out. Needless to say, I would hate for these officials and alumni at Tech to have to watch a NC State vs UNC game from the second row. Not a place you want your children, but one hell of a time.
Anyway, the one issue I see at tech is that no barrier exist between the fans and the court. I wish we would purchase one of those scrolling advertisement boards and put it between the fans and court. I think that would solve many of our problems and raise a little money. I would also encourage putting student dirrectly behind the visiting teams bench, I know the blue crew could have a lot of fun there.
