No chatter at all. I thought for sure someone would be talking about our struggles tonight. We look like a middle school team out there.
Batcho is getting hammered and no calls. Got elbowed by 34 in the jaw and no call. But getting handled like this is strictly on our inability to set up half court offense against a ball control team. We are one and done on the offensive end and pray it goes in.
same as usual, beat most but not all of our crappy non conference schedule and the bad conference teams. Lose just enough conference games to place about 3rd or 4th seed in the conference tournament, then lose in the first round. Nothing so far this season has changed how that will probably play out. We are thin depth wise and need things to bounce our way the large majority of the time to win.
No defined offense for the 3rd straight year -
Newman is lost when he plays physical guards and is a turnover machine
If you stop Batcho the odds of beating Tech are pretty high
As someone mentioned - our OOC schedule that has 3 non DI schools and sub 200 DI teams (one of which beat them) does not prepare you to go into places like UTEP, NMST or SHST - it just gives you a disproportioned view of how good you may or may not be
This team isn't tough night in and night out - they just aren't
''Don't be a bad dagh..."
Rinse and repeat with Hester's squads.
