With 3:50 left, Tech trails 73-40. The Dogs will be lucky to get to 50 points today.

LA Tech looked very small out there against NMSU, who looked like a bunch of football players on the floor. Batcho apparently didn't play much due to sickness.
Damn. Tech swept these guys last season.
I posted a month ago I thought the Dawgs would struggle to barely a winning record in CUSA play, 10-8 or something like that. Now, I see I was too optimistic. That loss to Southern speaks volumes. Good teams simply don't lose to a SWACer. We're not good.

Jech being Jech no matter what sport it is. Early wipe in men’s BB means early rot. Sucking is contagious for Jech and don’t get your hopes up for women’s BB they’ll suck too before it’s all over with.

Tech could do no right, and NM State could do no wrong. It was ugly, ugly, ugly. Meanwhile in Ruston, the Lady Techsters were looking pretty good. There is still a lot of basketball left, but I sure wouldn't have thought the Bulldogs would be 0 - 2 in conference play, and the Lady Techsters would be 2 - 0.
Hopefully the Bulldogs will be able to right the ship, and the Lady Techsters will be able to keep the magic going.
