Thanks, Tulsa. I thought I remembered that correctly.

Are you talking about the baseball player David Segui? I had no idea he went to Tech.
Yes, Chris Boniol won a Super Bowl ring as a kicker for the Dallas Cowboys during their Super Bowl run in the mid 90's.

    Did anybody mention Trey Junkin?

Junkin just retired a couple of years ago after having a 20-year NFL career. He started out as a tight end for the Buffalo Bills before eventually playing for the Raiders, Seattle, Arizona and the New York Giants. He extended his career substantially by becoming a long snapper in his later years.

BTW, I know dawg68 menitoned Larry Anderson. For the record, Anderson also won a Super Bowl ring playing for Pittsburg's steel curtain defense (as a DB) in the late 70's.

    Did anybody else see this............?

On Superbowl Sunday they did several specials. One was on the AFL/NFL merger. They showed several quick clips of old AFL footage from the early 60's. When Denver was mentioned, they showed a sideline shot of a person who looked very much like a young Mickey Slaughter. Not sure it was him, but it really looked like him. I remember that the jersey number was shown (I've forgotten what it was now) and thinking that I needed to go find out what his number was, but I got distracted and never did check on it.

Erica Taylor was drafted last year, but she didn't report to training camp.
I want to say that Debra Williams also got a tiny bit of playing time in the very first season of the WNBA. Could be wrong though. Also, I think Spurlock got cut before the first season started.
