Cajuns Series with La. Tech Canceled Due to Weather
RUSTON, La.-Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns baseball games scheduled for this weekend have been canceled due to inclement weather in the Ruston area.
The Cajuns were scheduled play Friday through Sunday, Feb. 17-19 against Louisiana Tech, but because of low temperatures and freezing rain, the two teams decided it would be in the best interest of both teams to postpone the games to a later date.

Unfortunately, it's true. I just called tech athletics. Damn storm! I was looking forward to this one too!
Tarp was over the field as I passed by 10 minutes ago but I didn't see this happening. I thought it was only going to rain tomorrow and maybe Sunday? Guess not.
Due to weather conditions, Louisiana Tech's baseball series with the University of Louisiana-Lafayette has been rescheduled. However, the games will not be played in a series as originally slated.
The first game will be played on Wednesday, April 5 at 3 p.m., and the second game will be Wednesday, April 12 at 3 p.m. The third game will possibly be rescheduled, but the time and date have yet to be determined.
All games will still be played at J.C. Love Field.
The Bulldogs' next game will be a double-header at Arkansas on Feb. 24 at 12 p.m.
I was looking forward to this one too. Would have been a pretty good measuring stick. I don't think USL is quite as good as they have been but still a good quality team. I've already taken some abuse from a few of my NLU friends. They moved up there series with Mizzou so they could get at least 2 games in before the weather hits, doubleheader starting at 3:00 today. Sure wish we would have done that.
