Adeleke just pulled down 16 boards tonight. How many rebounds did Millsap get tonight? This might be a bad night, we lose the game and Millsap falls to 2nd in rebounding.....

I really enjoyed watching the refs tonight, they were great. Job well done. What does it take to be a ref anyway?

Good, he should still be in 1st place, but just barely. Hopefully he'll come out and grab 20+ against Idaho. Adeleke only has one more game left, and then they are done (no conference tournament, I think). This means his rebounds will be up around 12.9 or so to end the year. I want at least one positive thing to come out of this season, hopefully Paul can keep it above 13.

Adelke 12.88 rebounds per game (335 total in 26 games)

Paul 13.0 (364 in 28 games)

Paul needs a big game Monday to give himself a little cushion.

Adelke plays in the America East Conference. They do appear to have a postseason tournament. Looks kind of funky. All nine teams in Vestal, NY March 3-5. Then ? the championship on March 11th to be played on the higher seeds home court?

That was one of the worst officiating jobs I've seen in a long time! On both sides. Those refs would let things get physical, then make a ticky-tack call, over and over again. It looked like they were doing "make-up" calls all night long, and not just fouls--travelling (our 7-footer not getting a travelling call???--he waltzed halfway across the court!).

This was a weird and ugly game. Both teams were "off." I'd love to see these teams in the WAC final, with a worthy officiating crew. This is a good matchup...just would like to see them play at the top of their game.

I am glad we got the win, but hope we've got the ugly games out of our system.

Hopefully the WAC will get the recognition it deserves, and get 3 teams in the NCAA. NMSU will deserve an NIT bid with a good showing at the WAC tournament. Best case scenario (if we don't win the automatic bid ) would be Nevada, LaTech and Utags in NCAA, with NMSU and Hawaii in the NIT.

Hope your coach doesn't have a meltdown with another student section getting on his case...thought he was going to freak at the PanAm last night!
