Looks like it's gonna be Idaho in our first game. Their leading 66-56 with 1:30.

Much better for Tech's RPI to get Idaho...
Idaho at 234 vs Utah State's 297, and the better Idaho record more than offsets Utah State's better SOS.
I just hope we open up some whoop on them. They have played us close every time.
If we can get a good lead early, it would be good to substitute frequently in this game. That should wear them down very quickly, since they played a pretty tough game last night. Plus, it will keep our players fresh and not worn out for the next game.
WKU lost to MTSU in the Belt finals. Does this mean the Belch will be a two-bid league this year?

That hurt us with rpi PLUS that is one less at large team that will not get selected. In other words, MTSU just took the place of some bubble team.

Which also means that we have to win to make sure we get to the tourney. Go ladies !!Originally Posted by champion110
I am watching the Hawaii/Boise game and I can tell you that even though we got the #1 seed, Fresno has the easier route to the championship game. Idaho has given us problems in both games and we have to beat Nevada on their home court. Meanwhile, if Fresno wins today, they will have the winner of this game (most likely Hawaii).
champion110 is right.
Champion,
What is the score? I have the WAC "live" score thingy up and it has nothing about the game. Hawaii I assume by your post is winning?
Yep,
Boise pulled off the upset. Hawaii had the game under control in the first half, but it was all Boise in the second.
Boise is hot and cold. They get on a hot streak and they can shoot the lights out, but this was more of a case of Hawaii just going stone cold.
Hawaii has the most nothing coach I have ever seen. He just sits there and shows no emotion at all. He was like that when they played the Techsters Saturday too. I could have sworn he was high last week.
So, Boise pulls the first upset of the tournament.
Texas Tech is playing Missouri on Fox Sports right now and down 55-49. Their rpi is 57 and, if they lose this game, I don't think they will make the tournament. Texas is already out and has played their last game this year.
Champion,
I am so glad you said that about the coach for Hawaii. At the game the other nite, he stood up and paced for about the first two minutes of the game.
The remainder, he was kicked back in his Hawaii decor, like he was on vacation sipping toddies. Likewise the team was not with it!!!!!
I don't know what that starting center did to "break team rules" and whether she played in the game today, but whatever she did, it must have had a TERRIBLE affect on the coach and the rest of the team, cause their play was horrible.
On the loss today by Hawaii, great, there goes the minute chance of someone upsetting Fresno before they get to us!!!!
Come on Ladies, time to step up.
Anyone can be beaten on any given day, which has been proven over and again this year. Let's not let it be us!
GOOOOOOO TECHSTERSSSSS!!!!
