    Respect and Commitment

It's all about RESPECT and COMMITMENT. I know there were several players that stepped up in the last two at bats for Tech, and I must say that the players that Simoneaux put in the game at that point made quite an impact. You have a guy, a Junior, who was batting .420 or .440 with 3-4 stolen bases prior to the Pine Bluff series, having only struck out 1 time, you would think that he would be a regular somewhere on the field, but he has only batted 6-7 times since then, and only played quite sparingly. And the last two games he has played in, he has gone 2-4 with an RBI and scores two runs. Then, you have another guy who has not pitched this year, a Junior, he comes in and puts the clamps on MSU in the final two inning, he also has been swinging a good bat, and also plays sparingly. Then you have a third guy, an experienced Senior, that draws a very important walk in the ninth inning that continues the at bat for TECH, that eventually produces the winning run. I could go on, but these three guys stick in my mind, because they seem to be like all the upperclassmen, the ones that continue to believe in what Simoneaux is trying to do with the younger players on this team. Sometimes a little upperclassman RESPECT and COMMITMENT, by Simoneaux, may do more for the younger players than starting them...It is after all, about RESPECT and COMMITMENT for both the coach and his players......

Looks like Coach Simoneaux made the right calls after all. Way to go coach!

I'm sorry Coach didn't use your lineup card. It can get frustrating, huh?

And it looks like the team in buying into that theory whether they are an underclassman or an upperclassman.

By they way, are from the JBIII train of thought - if they are experienced, they must play.

I must say Wade plays more players than any coach I've ever seen. There's only 9 spots in the lineup, or 10 if you count DH, so not everyone can play all the time. But it seems to me that what Wade is doing is working.
