If Tech wins one game against New Mexico State, New Mexico State must win two games against Tech and sweep Nevada to get to 10 WAC wins. Since Nevada cannot get to 10 WAC wins if it is swept by NMSU, one Tech win against NMSU clinches a WAC Tournament bid.

If Tech is swept by NMSU, Tech could miss the WAC Tournament if....

1) Nevada wins its home series over Sacramento State 2 games to 1 and Nevada wins its series at New Mexico State 2 games to 1. The Sacramento State-Fresno State series would be irrelevant in this scenario.

2) Nevada sweeps its home series with Sacramento State, New Mexico State and Nevada both win at least one game in their series at Las Cruces, and Sacramento State wins at least one game at home against Fresno State.

Sacramento State 8-10 now, 1 win at Nevada or vs Fresno State would give the Hornets at least 9 wins (Sac State won the season series with Tech if it is 9-15)
Nevada 5-12 now, 4-2 would make it 9-14 (9 wins for Nevada gives it a better WAC percentage than 9-15 teams)
New Mexico State 5-13 now, 4-2 would make it 9-15 (NMSU would win the season series with Tech)
Louisiana Tech 9-12 now, 0-3 would make it 9-15
