    texas hold'em

I gotta a couple of questions for you "professional" hold'em players.

    1. Does the order go: dealer button, small blind, big blind?

    2. After the two down cards are dealt who bets first?

    1. Yes
    2. The betting before the flop starts with the person to the left of the big blind (because he has already called). After the flop the person to the left of the dealer goes first.

Not a professional as evidenced by my lack of winnings, but I've played a few hands......

Order is: Person to left of the big blind opens with at least the amount of the big blind. Goes around the table to the left with each player having the option to raise the first bet. The little blind and big blind have the last options of calling the bet or pushing in their chips.

As stated above, after the two down cards are dealt, the person to the left of the big blind has to at least call the big blind amount or throw cards in.

Sorry Juice, I typed all this w/out seeing your reply.
