Yeah, anyone that wants to work an orientation, this is the last chance... It has really been a blast and we have gotten some really good response. The more people we have, the better! And thanks to those who have already helped, you've done a great job!

Just remember that about 10 - 20 % will be hard core and only about 50 - 75 % will actually join (looking at past examples). However, I am stoked!!!!

We are also a NPO now recognised by the state! Woo Hoo!

We are also looking into a very possible corprate sponsor? (we have been in contact with someone interested)

There are so many things going on right now that my head is spinning...! I'm just praying that this keeps going. This is the legacy that we want to leave!

I know for a fact one of the guys that signed up today will be hardcore. He was one of my boys back in highschool and chill at the games with me (and tailgate before the games). We got lucky he changed his major at the last minute before school started and is now going to Tech instead of Centenary.

When y'all are all together for the first time and all painted up, why don't you get a professional photographer to take pictures sitting in the front bleachers at Aillet?

That would make a great poster.

My phone rings at 11:45 PM CST on Tuesday night. I answer it. My daughter is calling me from freshman orientation at USC. She and my wife are at a pep rally. It is a pep rally to teach the incoming freshmen the ropes of being a Trojan. The Trojan Band is there and they are playing " Fight On" and "Tusk". The yell leaders are there. Yes Kin (another Spa city buddy and Aggie), their male cheerleaders are called "yell leaders" just like at Texas A&M. The "Song Girls" are there in those tight white sweaters. Oh mama. AND they are all yelling, "Beat the Razorbacks." I heard it all via their cell phones. My daughter asks me, "How do you get a Bruin off of your doorstep?" "Pay him for the pizza." What am I to do? GO HOGS BEAT USC. FIGHT ON.
I love the idea of a real pep rally at orientation. At my orientation they had recordings of the band and tried to teach us cheers. But I think having a real pep rally at the TAC, with the band, cheerleaders, and dance line. I would think that the blue might could orchestrate it.
