Hey Dwayne, did Jen break the BBB record for most posts in a day yesterday? If this pace keeps up, she will have more post than you by next week!
Let's hope the season doesn't end today.....and it won't if our outgoing seniors come up big for us. Yesterday the seniors went 0 for 13 and our senior pitcher couldn't put out the on-fire rainbows. WE CAN DO IT !!!!!
I think we have the patent on wild pitches this season. When we are in some pressure situations but chance for double play or force, we wild pitch ourselves into a deeper hole. Lacy did it today early. Geez!
Wild pitches or passed balls?
im sorry . . .Originally Posted by nickdawg67

I think our pitching staff must lead the conference in "wild pitches" that were not wild at all but excellent strike out pitches in the dirt.We desperately need a fundamentally sound catcher nex't year who will give our pitching staff the confidence to throw a curveball or changeup on the plate. I have held my breath everytime an opposing team had a runner on third base this year. The pitcher is almost forced to stay away from his breaking pitches in that situation so these good Division 1 hitters get a nice juicy fastball to rip instead. What's the rule? Just because the ball is in the dirt or bounces off home plate does that mean it's a " wild pitch" ?
