Almost all sociologists agree that modern American society AS WE KNOW IT will cease to exist within 75 years. Most estimates put it at closer to 50 with some saying 25 or less. The reason is simple...nuclear weaponry that will be available in small packages and growing civil unrest around the globe and apathy in the US. Did you ever stop and think that Bush and his cronies know this and are trying to "head it off at the pass" by trying to create a peaceful middle east? Seriously, ask any of your Sociology prof's on campus if you're currently at Tech or if you're out of school check it out with your local campus. Not saying that the sky is falling, just stating the facts as we know them today.

According to Michael Stipe (R.E.M), "It remains the premier unsolved American surrealist act of the 20th century. It's a misunderstanding that was scarily random, media hyped and just plain bizarre.

    Poor Dan Rather got mugged.

In 1997, based on a tip from a psychiatrist, Rather's attacker was identified as William Tager. According to the psychiatrist, Tager, who was currently serving time for killing an NBC stagehand, blamed news media for beaming signals into his head, and thought if he could just find out the correct frequency, he could block those signals that were constantly assailing him. Hence the enigmatic inquiry.

The crazy dude that approached Dan Rather screaming, "What's the frequency Kenneth!" Also a hit song for REM (I preferred Orange Crush myself). Did I just show my age or what?
