I think most of them have returned home due to the end of their schedules or to rest their tired beat up bodies.Hudson,Rike, and Lorio are still playing and appear to be doing well.

    Re: Summer League

Holy crap!! I didn't know that Dylan Moseley threw a NO-NO!!! And this was 4 days after throwing a ONE hitter!! Oh yea... and a week before that he threw a TWO HIT SHUTOUT!!Check out this article.
"Louisiana Tech's righty Dylan Moseley tossed a no hitter Saturday night in a 1-0 win over Hays. He beaned the first batter of the game, otherwise, he would have had a perfect game. However Hays took three of four in the key road series for first place. Liberal has fallen into third after losing game two 4-1 Saturday night and losing 12-1 last night at Larks Park. Liberal dropped six of eight against Hays in the season. Last night, the Larks out-hit the BJ's 18-4. Hays scored six in the fifth and three in the eighth in the win. Liberal hosts Dodge City tonight at 6:00 PM for a double-header. Liberal's next league game is against El Dorado Friday night. "

Where did we get this kid?? If he comes into the 2007 season with this type of production... oh boy... i'm cheesin....

And in just about every article Brian Rike is doing something great! What an offensive spark he has been for this team! I would love to see all this work pay off for the guys... this is AMAZING!! (Wow I sould like Aub and Champ110... haha)

    Re: Summer League

i was actually expecting dylan to contribute more last year than he did. he was a pretty high pick coming out of high school in arkansas. i wouldn't be surprised if he cracked the rotation next year. at the very least, he will be a solid reliever and a big bat off the bench.

Dylan's older brother Dustin is in the Los Angeles Angels system, pitching for their triple A affiliate ( Salt Lake Bees ) ( Pacific Coast League ). I think our pitching staff is looking real promising ( for the nex't 2 years at least).

It should be really good next year. Mosley, Lorio, and Burentt are all over 6'4''. We should have some great arms for next year just from this past years team. I know Sim will have some other transfers coming in. Speaking of transfers, has any of our players transferred elsewhere?

I heard that transfer Patrick Maxwell had a good game the other night playing with a team out of Monroe. He had a go ahead grandslam to give the louisiana team a lead over the team from Mississippi. Patrick Thomas had a good night also as he went 2 for 3, his brother Drew was out of town and did not play. I also understand that ex-tech pitcher and current Bossier Parish pitcher Lachney got the win in relief

    Re: Summer League

Coach Simoneaux was really excited about the summer several of his players had, but Moseley is the one who stands out the most. Wade is really pumped about Moseley. Lorio also had a great summer as a closer for his team. Obviously, Rike did, too, and so did Hudson. Wade said he was getting calls from Rike and Hudson almost every day, saying "you won't believe the way Moseley is throwing."
