Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. Grambling State
I’ll make it real simple… get our big swinging little pop up SS out of the lineup and maybe Tech will have a chance to be competitive more than half the time. He’s not even big enough to field his position. Getting stomped by Grambling is completely unacceptable.

Dawgs win 14-6
GSU's bats were lively, hit 3 solo shots, but they were solo shots because our pitchers did a good job not walking batters. A win is a win, even over a SWACer. I take nothing for granted with Tech teams these days.

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. Grambling State
According to the Tech roster there are 22 pitchers on the team and yet we only ever see the same 9 or 10. What this means is that like every year we won’t have any arm strength left by the end of the season. What’s up with the other 12 guys? Can’t our great pitching coach, Fouts get them good enough to actually play or shouldn’t they have even been recruited here to begin with which is also on him. There’s no way Burroughs should be pitching some of his best guys in a game against Grambling. The thing is though that if he didn’t the game could’ve been lost. It was only after Grambling went to their bullpen and from there proceeded to walk 6 straight batters that tied the game at 6-6 and Burroughs pulled his non contributing SS did Tech wake up and start batting better. Still Tech was out hit 11 to 8.
