I've been in Mexico all of last week, and wow! You cannot fully appreciate the game until you're around a bunch of futbol-crazy folks like that. I had a blast. Watched the Mexico-Iran game in a bar with a bunch of drunken Mexican fans...it was great! Got kissed by a lovely senorita each time Mexico scored. Then the fiesta afterwards...all frickin' night in town! Got back to my condo around 5 AM, just too old to go all night and into the morning like dem folks down there.

Korea is playing France and there are 30,000 Korean fans in the Stable Center in Los Angeles watching the game together. That is why soccer will eventually grow here in the US. Many immigrants are bringing their love for the game with them to this country. Add to that the growing interest among American youth for the game, and the future is very bright for the growth of the sport here.
