Thanks DFM - its interesting that they didn't start the search in May so someone would be on board on July first. Now it will be the day before the first home game b/4 someone is on board. This way they save a few month's pay. Who is going to put the chairbacks in and blow up the balloons?

they are splitting ronny's job into 2 jobs. one is the marketing director, the other is the director of athletic advancment.

they want one person focusing on promotions for games and marketing in general, the other is too raise money. i hope he finds someone good to raise money and that he turns them loose.

Don't know what the pay is, but the fund raising job should have a base salary with incentives. Somebody needs to explain to JO about incentives. Political appointees tend to not understand them. We also need two of these. Not just one.

I get a weekly email from NCAA and I have been wondering when this would be posted and how it would be posted. Good to see that we are publicly looking for someone.

My last communication with Jim about this or any future job was back in mid-May. Sounded, at that time, that this was going to be posted earlier.
