According to the newstar, 11,232.
Hopefully this represents a leveling off and we will see an increase come next year. We are in much better shape than ULM, which after been thrown all that money by the state still lost a bunch of kids this year.
that's pretty substantial drop from last year.
My senior year (could've been my junior year), we had 11,975 enrolled. It has been on a decline since then.

From Tech's homepage: Louisiana Tech's fall quarter enrollment is down by just 63 students from last year, with a ninth-day enrollment of 11,232.
I was wrong, I thought I remembered it being around 11,600 last year.
the dailey leader said it was:
03: 11,975 all time high
04: 11,700+
05: 11,295 (11,600+ with evacuee students)
06: 11,232
And also keep in mind that there are still thousands of folks who haven't come back after the hurricanes, and that we get from 10-20% of our enrollment from down south in any given year.
reneau said in the past he wants to get to 15-16,000 i believe. he also said that we would need more infrastructure if we got much higher than 12,000.
i think we will start our upward climb again. if we do get back to 12,000, i would expect admission standards to go up again and level it off.
eventually it is gonna change from ACT OR class rank OR gpa and its gonna be ACT AND class rank AND gpa.
It should be the and not or if you really want to grow academically, but if you think the admin handicapps our athletics now.......... whoa nellie
