Ray. You are wrong. Reading comprehension. Diagram the sentence (and ignore the comma, it is grammatically incorrect).
Democratic leaders are doing “this” which is in reference to violating their own “orders”. The “when” before “democratic leaders” is used as a conjunction defining the time the subject of the sentence performs the action.
“those people who claim Trump did such a horrible job handling COVID” is the clear subject of the sentence. The verb “are” applies to the subject as does the adjective following it “silent”. It is the Trump critics that are silent and the Democratic leaders that are not following their own orders.
“No condemnation at all.” Obviously refers to the critics of Trump as well since he didn’t introduce a new subject, plus it is emphasizes the point made in the prior sentence.
We are all wrong from time to time. No harm in admitting it rather than double downing on something so blatantly wrong.
You excel at it! And, yeah, you should try admitting all the times you have been wrong. It would help toward starting to erase your negative credibility rating.
