Politico Magazine reported that the staffer with Feinstein’s San Francisco office was suspected of providing political intelligence to his handlers, though none of the information was classified.
A former intelligence official told author Zach Dorfman that the suspected informant was “run” by officials based at the local Chinese Consulate, Politico said.
A source familiar with the incident confirmed to San Francisco Chronicle columnists Phillip Matier and Andrew Ross that the FBI alerted Feinstein about five years ago that her driver was being investigated for possible Chinese spying.

The woman who accused U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., of domestic abuse released on Wednesday what appeared to be a medical document from 2017 detailing the abuse allegedly caused by the congressman.
Karen Monahan, an ex-girlfriend of Ellison, published the document on social media just days after saying the Democratic Party “smeared” her and threatened to isolate her over her allegations against the deputy of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
A doctor wrote in the medical document that Monahan “states that she was in a very stressful environment for years, emotional and physical abuse by a partner with whom she is now separated.

CONFUSION: Obama says 'fear mongering' doesn't work -- after fear mongering...
In recent days, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton both claimed President Trump and Republicans are trying to win the November midterms by scaring voters.
But in some back-handed way of offering hope, both are actually fear-mongering themselves.
While rallying Democrats for Pennsylvania candidates on Friday night, Obama went off the deep end, claiming Republicans want to leave the disabled and those in nursing homes “out in the cold.”
A glum-faced Hillary claimed that Trump is going to go on a firing spree after the election, presumably because that’s what Hitler did, and we all know how much he loves Hitler, so…yeah…
“They’re trying to scare the heck out of you,” Obama said before launching into an anti-Trump screed and stoking fear about the President’s agenda.
“When we take our basic rights for granted, then other voices fill the void,” Obama warned.
“And they promise to fight for the little guy, even as they are helping the wealthiest and the most powerful. And they promised they’re going to take on corruption in Washington, and then they just plunder,” he said.

Dem Senator Sherrod Brown(Ohio) is crying foul after three women have come forward alleging he sexually assaulted them...back in the '80's. His Repub opponent in the senate race, Jim Renacci, said these claims are uncorroborated, but the women should be believed. And, he's right, they should be believed...just because.
Clearly this Brown dude should apologize for his sexual assaults, and then resign from the senate race.

President Trump used his predecessor's own words against him when he quoted President Obama's forceful 2005 opposition to illegal immigration, but he could have cherry-picked an old quote from any number of top Democrats on the controversial subject.

On Tuesday, Trump tweeted a 2005 video in which then Senator Obama made a statement against illegal immigration, accompanied by the comment "I agree with President Obama 100%".
“We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States,” Obama said in the 31-second clip. “But those who enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law.”
He added: “We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants into this country.”
