Iraq is truly slipping fast now.
Look how far it's slipping! Simply impossible situation!

Ah...moron....that's because US troops have been pulled from combat assignments....oh, about 3 months ago now. Duh!
Iraq's political situation, i.e. winning the peace hangs in the precarious balance.
Come on children, try to keep up.
Of course, we all HOPE that no more US troops become casualties, and that Iraq becomes a peaceful democracy, joining the ranks of like nations around the world. That was one of Bush's stated objectives. Yes, he was raked for the notion of "nation building." So? Should we give Iraq back to the terrorists?
Nah, I don't think so either.
Attacks on Iraqi police and army personnel are increasing. The most recent, a mere 4 dead, 11 wounded, is so small by terrorist standards, to hardly be news worthy. But, it's just the latest in a string of attacks.
So, Iraq had been relatively quiet, with conditions improving. Even some of the staunchest critics of western involvement there had been rendered mute by the improving situation. Now...
So, why the sudden reversal? Well, one watchdog organization reported: "The current administration's policies in Iraq have cast that nation into a dangerous period."
Okay, that's hardly a ringing condemnation of said policies. But, it bears watching and one should be reminded: if it tanks from here, no one can blame Bush.
Iraq for Iraqis. The Iraqis want us to leave. We should have pulled our troops out long ago.

Getting worser!

Sure do!
But that ain't democracy, it's obamanation in action.
Speaking of which, is it democracy to steal an election like obama stole the demo nomination from hillary?
Back to Iraq....you know that Bush accomplished a lot in both Iraq and Afghanistan. You know that obama has royally screwed it up and it's only gonna get worse from here in both places. You can't face the truth that all that criticism you hurled at Bush, all that venom you spewed, like an armchair QB, has come back to bite you on the ass as your lovely obama has undone all that great work. Oh, you can't bring yourself to openly admit it...you won't switch to supporting the Repubs...so! you have abandoned your demos to embrace libertarism.
The truth is obvious to see. Bush left both Iraq and Afghanistan in a much better situation, and while no one, myself included, thought the issue was totally resolved, especially not in Afghan given its 1,000 years of history of civil war and infighting, anyone intellectually honest knows Bush got Afghan to a point that at least there was some small glimmer of hope. And, he positioned Iraq to actually become a democracy.
All that is gone now. Swept away by the weak-azz policies of obamanation.
A day doesn't go by without another incident:

Soon obamanation will face a decision, continue to allow it to slide or recommit US troops to combat.

obamanation has completely undone all the good work Bush did in Iraq...

No more "is slipping fast." Need to used the past tense, it has SLIPPED!
So, instead of using our military, the US will be sending more PMCs into Iraq "to fill the void", which can only mean there will be a progressively increasing force (from the initial 7000) that'll end up equalling what we had. And all funded by the tax payer... Yeah, this'll work out real well.

Oh well, looks like there's gonna be bigger fish to fry next door in Iran pretty soon anyway. Somebody may have to lob a nuke somewhere just to remind the mideast this is serious business. I doubt Israel is gonna roll over.
