Thumbs Up It's the Economy Stupid

Yes, this is a cut and paste but I still like it. I sure haven't heard the old "It's the economy stupid" out of the DEMS this election. I think the GOP should use this phrase against them. Only I would add, "It's about the Economy and Fighting Terrorism Stupid".

Our economy is stronger than ever and the federal budget deficit shrank in half in fiscal year 2006. Yet Americans are more concerned than ever about the economy.

You may not have read it in liberal newspapers or seen it on the evening news, but it is true. President Bush's and the Republican Congress' tax cuts and pro-growth economic policies work and the deficit and strong economy prove it.

Without a Republican-controlled Congress, we would have none of this.
President Bush promised to cut the 2004 budget deficit in half by 2009 and we reached that goal ahead of schedule. The U.S. economy is growing at a robust pace and the job market is improving every day. The current unemployment rate is well below average for the last four decades. Yesterday, the Dow Jones surpassed 12,000 due to controlled inflation, earnings' growth and a strong national housing market.

Yet the top issue voters are concerned about at the polls this November is the economy because the left-wing media fails to full report on the positive growth spearheaded by the GOP. The current tax cuts are the primary factor that lead to our current economic growth. Democrats have claimed time and again that they will raise taxes if they take over Congress.

I am extremely fearful that all the current growth, improvement and strength in our economy and national deficit reduction will be destroyed if the Democrats win the majority in Congress.
This will happen if the Democrats take over Congress. This can only happen with your grassroots support and word of mouth. Please take a moment to forward this message to your friends and family. Election Day is less than three week away.

Oh, but the left-wing media won't talk much about DOW 12000...less than a blurb on most outlets.
I'm an asshole! What's your excuse?

How did the market ever break the 12,000 level without Bill Clinton as president. How have we done anything at all without Bill in the oval office chasing Monica.

The only really significant thing government has done for the economy in the last 25 years is the Reagan tax cut. That got the economic engine running and neither Bush nor Clinton have been able to kill it. (though they both gave a pretty good effort) No one wants to admit that, though, because it would call into question whatever new idea they want to sponsor to benefit the economy and make themsevles indispensable.

"The federal budget deficit shrank in half in fiscal year 2006."

    Wonderful and LOL!

This is like the drunken sailor's wife kissing her husband and congratulating him for only spending 10 times their annual income on drink and whores and sundry...... Rather than his usuaul 20 times their income.

The American ECONOMY is currently functioning on a paper fiction of political myth.

The national debt has soared way beyond ANY fiscally responsibile political agenda over the last 6 years.
America's trade deficits have become even more obscene with little george at the helm, than they were under Clinton.
Despite all the republican "tax cut" braggadocio...... The average middle class American now has $3,000 less to spend per year than he did when scalia abruptly stopped the Florida chad count.
America has been losing over 40,000 manufacturing jobs PER MONTH over the last 4 years.
The loss of other American jobs to India and China and various third world countries over the last 6 years has crossed any line of middle class reason and has long posed more of a REAL THREAT to America's future than any possible TERRORIST plot.
BIG OIL has been given a federal welfare check worth over 10 BILLION TAXPAYER DOLLARS to compliment their largest profits EVER.
Drug companies have now been given a sincere republican wink to do as the will.
Millions of middle class American home buyers are now confronting, or will soon confront, the economic reality of 3 TRILLION DOLLARS in ARM or interest only 100% mortages.
American credit card debt has ballooned out of any logical proportion over the last 6 years and the new republican bankruptcy LAWS now guarantee that no bank will ever have eat any prior calculated loss ever again.
The number of Americans living in statistical federal poverty has increase dramatically over the last 6 years.
The number of Americans living without health insurance has become an international disgrace, as OUR NATION remains the only industrialized country on this planet without universal health care for its citizens.
EVERY DAY..... The flood of illegal aliens continues to flow unabated across our borders, providing cheap labor for business and an ever increasing burden on American tax dollars...... AND OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT remains frozen like a deer in headlights to DO ANYTHING.
Hispanis individuals, living in America, are now annually sending 45 BILLION AMERICAN dollars to their Central American countries of origin...... And our Federal Government CONTINUES TO DO NOTHING.

What I KNOW about economics could be easily be written in the margins of any standard republican "stump speech"......
But I DO KNOW that ANY FOOL can easily pretend to reduce the financial burden of any current taxpayer, and spend money like it means nothing...... As long as no one notices what the TAB might be for future generations.

Imagine for a moment, Tyler, that you could mortgage EVERYTHING you own for 125% of its actual value...... MAX OUT everything possible in credit card debt...... Buy and enjoy several vintage vehicles with phoney credit...... And high roll yourself to another large "good times" debt in Vegas......
Knowing all the while that YOU would never have to repay a dime...... But your children and their children would b e legally required to clean up your fiscal dissaster?

    And when ronnie left office......

The United States Of America was ONLY 2 TRILLION TAXPAYER DOLLARS MORE IN DEBT than it was when he swore his oval office oath.

BUT I FORGET...... Perhaps you may be able to help me.

Just how many BALANCED BUDGETS did ronnie author while he commanded the oval office ship of state?

I'll take a shot at your query......

Could it have been little george?

    AND NOW......

Would you care TO STATE just how many federal tax dollars this alleged national tax cut has expanded YOUR PERSONAL WALLET BY...... In your particular taxpayer reality?

    Once we have YOUR NUMBERS......

WE can compare them to the numbers for Ted Kennedy and Opra and Warren Buffet...... 3 Americans who publically announced that they financially needed not any such little george largesse.

Unless you were born and still live under a very large rock.....

It is more than real time for you to learn that ANY closing number for the DOW means virtually nothing of note for more than 75% of middle America, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for ALL Americans still struggling below this nations's continued indifference to poverty.

AND while as meaningless as YOUR 12,000 DOW crap......

May I compliment YOU PERSONALLY on you subjective effort to "spin" a little george DOW 12,000, with nary an obvious reference to all the 11,000 and change Clinton Dow closings......
OR the Clinton 5000 on the Nasdeq.

BTW...... If little george ever gets his way and manages to have the S&P renamed the R&P for the RICH AND POOR...... We shall need to chat again.

Can't really blame the "republican Gov" for citizens being too stupid to realize what a 100% interest only mortage will mean 5 years down the road or what an ARM will do without refinancing the loan.

Hey...... If little george and big dick can get away with blaming saddam for 911 and still pretending that America is actually fighting TERRORISM in Iraq...... Why not?

Let me put it to you this way.
The little george/big dick administraion and their republican congress has spawned a laissez-faire political environment for corporate greed and unconscionable banking usury...... Not available to those "too stupid" Americans, you refer to, since the glorious conservative years of Herbert Hoover. Even ronnie's savings and loan debacle pales by comparison.

Or would you have me believe that NO ONE AT THE HELM happened to notice where this three-card monte "housing boom" of republican "prosperity"was headed?

    BTW......
Have you already forgotten all that past banking/credit card bravado about how they could slash credit card interest rates...... IF ONLY THEY COULD ELIMINATE all those silly American bankruptcy "loopholes" that were FORCING them to gouge EVERYONE who was "TOO STUPID" not to pay their credit card balances in full each month?

little george and his merry lads have given them what they wanted. So what ever happened to all that interest rate slashing?

Well, the last time I checked, when the credit card companies send me a credit card app. It does not say anywhere on the envelope sponsored by the republican party. I do get a kick out of reading you posts blaming the government for the spending habits of greedy Americans, and then we have to feel sorry for them because they can't pay there bills, and the government will not come and rescue you from those big bad credit card companies.

I can't recall the last bill on a republican led congress that forced Americans to put all of there purchases on a credit card and be irresponsible with there money. Oh wait I forgot, this is all a ploy against the poor, just like Katrina was. If we can extend them credit, we can ruin there credit and the hopes of them ever buying anything ever again. mmmuuuuuhhhaaahhaaaahhhaaaaaaaa. That's it.

The fact is Americans are self indulgent and want things when they want them, regardless of if they can actually pay for it or not, and Businesses- not government will dupe them into making a bad purchase by offering that financing plan that is too good to be true. Well.
