They mainly played the young guys to see what they could do.

I noticed there were a lot of errors. Is this typical for the fall? I'm hoping it is just rust.
Also, is there another game tonight?

No that was the last game. Probably rust and new kids being welcomed to D-1 ball.

Gorilla, there's usually several errors in the fall world series. Some of it rust, some of it guys playing out of position. They'll be ready to go come February. No game tonight, it's over.

It's true that some of the young guys played, but a lot of the starters played as well. The good news for the "young" guys is that their hits came against "old" pitchers--Rupert, Jericho, Luke, Bounds, Lorio, Knotts. I hope that is the result of good hitting and not bad pitching :icon_wink: .

When you split a squad's pitchers and not that many good to start with, this is what you will see in a Fall World Series with only couple of decent arms on each team.
